And all of this can be achieved via the powerful combination of Vinyasa (continuous flow of energy), Ujjayi breath (victorious breath), Bandhas (Locks), and Drishti (eye gaze)- all elements known to a form of yoga classified as Ashtanga Vinyasa.
This beginners class will introduce you all to the basic Ashtanga primary series inclusive of modifications and adjustments. So get ready to sweat, enrich your mind, body and soul to the best hour of your life!
Nisha Gulati is a fitness trainer originally from New Jersey USA. She is a certified Bikram Hot Yoga and Ashtanga Vinyasa Instructor, health and fitness columnist for Hyderabad’s widely read B Positive Magazine.
Apart from this, she has also extensively trained in traditional indian forms of dance and martial arts inclusive of Bharatnatyam, Odissi, Bhangra, Giddha, and Kalaripayattu.
Yoga has been a source of great discipline, inspiration and positivity for Nisha who has been teaching at studios in Mumbai India, Phuket Thailand, Marina Dubai and Vancouver Canada.
Her journey into the world of yoga instruction has grounded and permanently changed her life in a vibrant fashion. She discovered how powerful a tool our bodies become in yoga and fine tuning it is a responsibility she wants others to imbibe as well. She aspires to probe deeper into her practice and reach new heights with sincerity and dedication.
