This 2 hours workshop will be your first step into the wonderful world of upcycling. Everything you learn at the workshop will be techniques you can repeat at home. So you can stop using those toxic plastic dishes in your microwave and go natural. And breathe fresh life, or paint, into all your old crockery.

What you get
1 Dinner Plate and Mug
Colours and tools to use at the workshop
A bag to carry your painted items home

The Experience
After giving you’ve given your crockery a good wipe down, the Instructor will show you how to use the colours and apply it to your ceramic plate. While discussing different techniques.
And then the fun begins. Once you are done painting your plate, you will learn how to seal the paints and make the dish food-safe by baking it in a regular, kitchen oven.
You will learn the ideal temperature, duration and important things to keep in mind when doing this at home.
While the plates are baking, you will move on to the mug next.
The smaller items take 15-20 minutes to bake. And while you wait, you can enjoy a generous serving of tea, biscuits and loads of information on colours, the different varieties available, what to use and, most importantly, what to stay away from.
Your hand-painted plate and mug will be ready to leave with you at the end of your workshop.
